Yumo Privacy Policy

Yumo is designed to keep dictation private. The app uses Apple's on-device technologies to turn your speech into text locally on your Mac. Yumo does not upload your voice recordings to Yumo servers, and we do not use your recordings to train AI models.

Yumo does not collect, store, or transmit your voice recordings or dictated text. Your dictation is processed on your device.

Subscriptions And Payments

Yumo subscriptions are handled through Apple's App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may process purchase, subscription, refund, and account information according to Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

Website Data

The Yumo website does not use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking. Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and request times, to deliver the site, maintain security, and diagnose issues.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your recordings or dictated text because Yumo does not collect them. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the website or provide support, with Apple for App Store purchases, or when required by law.

Retention

Because Yumo does not collect your recordings or dictated text, we do not retain them. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to you, maintain records, and meet legal or operational requirements.

Your Choices

You can choose not to contact us or not to provide optional support details. You can manage or cancel your Yumo subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Children

Yumo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
